NASA’s 2012 image account describes forest replacement by palm oil plantations and roads in Kalimantan. A regular plantation pattern differs from irregular natural forest cover.
Kalimantan is the Indonesian part of Borneo. This evidence cannot be relabelled as a Malaysian rainforest example merely because the island includes Malaysia.
