The World Bank’s January results account reports that Can Tho’s 2016–2024 project delivered flood infrastructure and green corridors protecting more than 422,000 people.

This is a project result within a defined protection area. It is not a claim that every resident of Viet Nam is protected or that risk is eliminated.
